The boy and girls recently completed lots of maths activities to celebrate Maths Week. The children went on a nature scavenger hunt around the school grounds recording all their finding. The children recorded their results using colourful bar charts. The children got creative thinking of questions that would equal six. I was very impressed with the excellent mental maths skills and the children’s abilities to think of multi step word problems.
