St Mary's Primary School, Newtownbutler, Co. Fermanagh

Welcome

Dear Parents and Children,

St. Mary's Primary School Newtownbutler, is a caring and inclusive school where the whole school community shares a common goal โ€‘ to do the very best for all the children in our care, so that they can grow, flourish and be enabled to reach their full potential. This vision is summarized as, ‘Be Kind, Be Curious, Belong’.

Our overriding aim is to establish and foster Christian values for life. We use the acronym ‘FRIENDS’ to summarize our values, which are: Fostering Respect, Inclusion, Empathy, Nurture, Dignity and Success’. To accomplish our vision and live our values, it is essential that we work in partnership with all our parents and the local community. Indeed the success of our school depends on good coโ€‘operation between staff, pupils and parents.

This website is intended to help you know more about the life and work of our school. It outlines what we stand for and what we offer your child, including standards which are consistently higher than the Northern Ireland average, straight classes, a wide range of extra curricular activities and a wrap around service.

Of course no website can convey the real atmosphere of a school. I warmly invite you therefore to visit the school, when we will be most pleased to meet you.

With sincere good wishes,

Mrs Paula Kelly

Principal
