Our P5 children have started the Beyond Bricks: Mind Wise program. A LEGO-based initiative designed to help pupils develop emotional intelligence and learn healthy ways to cope with big emotions. Through LEGO therapy, children explore how emotions can build up and sometimes “flip their lid,” leading to unexpected reactions. So far, they’ve enjoyed reflecting on their feelings and learning how to manage them in positive ways. Each week, pupils will discover new strategies to handle emotions, adding them to their personal toolkit, all while working together and building imaginative LEGO masterpieces with their peers.
