The P7 students and staff made some St. Brigid's crosses to celebrate the saint from Kildare whose feast day is on the 1st February. The pupils really enjoyed this session and the tradition that is so popular in Irish homes and communities. Thank you to Conor McGrath who brought in some rushes to help with this and thanks to Katie Caughey for showing the class how to create the St. Brigid's crosses.
