Make your Mental Health your Wealth!

In the picture is a mental health checklist which can be used for students, parents, adults, teachers, staff and the whole community.

It is important that we take care of our mental fitness and remember that we all have bad days and are allowed to have bad days.

The key is the how you respond and always remember that it is your decision which you are in control of. Take simple, positive steps.

Have your own self-care checklist and do the things that work for you. Encourage your children to do these things as well.

The steps are simple yet so many of us probably neglect these key things:

  1. Routine
  2. Exercise
  3. Sleep
  4. Take time for yourself

On a recent webinar, I heard a good metaphor recently in regards to this- "If you were to move a heavy table, what would you do? You would ask for help." "So if you have heavy thoughts inside your mind, it is important to talk and share it with people."
