The school council have organised that every half-term, the P4-7 children can vote for their preferred Golden Time activities. Staff rotate to provide a variety of options on Friday afternoons, including Gaelic, art, ICT, access to the lower playground and games. This is proving to be a super incentive and while the pupils of St Mary's always do their best, we have noticed an even greater enthusiasm to earn 100% Golden Time. Everyone starts the week with 100% and if some is lost, there is always an opportunity to earn it back. Those who have earned all their Golden Time each half-term are awarded a certificate, so parents are aware and can be very proud of their children's positive behaviour.
