St. Joseph’s Donagh, Newtownbutler Primary School and St Mary’s all worked together as part of a Erne East cluster group for five weeks on a townlands project lead by FODC.
The project involved the group researching up to 100 local town-lands, with each school being assigned specific townlands to focus on. Pupils were then tasked with creating unique designs based on the names of each individual town-land. These designs were then painted onto each individual jigsaw by the pupils.
The schools have been invited back in September to help assemble the jigsaw for its big unveiling.
