Champions of Fermanagh!!

14th Jun 2022

Pride of place today goes to our boys’ team consisting of the P7 boys and some P6 players! A big congratulations to them and well done as they really put on a big performance today! We are delighted for all of them and for the hard work they put in 😃👌 it’s a great way to finish the school year! Fully deserved after a strong performance from all the team!

The boys beat a strong St. Paul's PS, Irvinestown team in the final with a strong first half and they built on that in the second half. Commiserations to Irvinestown who are a top side and have been close in many matches with our boys in and outside school.

Thanks to everyone for the great support and to all the parents/ coaches for your hard work and time set aside for the lads and also girls of the class. It’s brilliant to see them putting their talents to good use and working together as a team! Keep it going!

A big thank you to Eddie Sherry for helping out today, our past pupils on work experience Kealan Fitzpatrick, for being there and supporting the boys alongside Jack and Margaret, who always are there helping the class. The support of Pat Cadden and Keith Reilly as Gaelic coaches during the year is greatly appreciated. Finally thank-you from everyone to Mr Sludden for staying after school to coach the children, as well as focused Gaelic lessons during PE. Thank-you also to Mr Sludden for encouraging a strong team spirit among the boys and a respectful attitude towards opponents. It’s a team game and everyone involved is fully appreciated!!
